Luke 19:37-40 - When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives...

NIV When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:

"Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!"
"I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."
KJV And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples

As Jesus came into Jerusalem, He encountered praise.

But unlike other rabbi's who would have stopped such worship as heresy, Jesus commended them for it! This is the type of behavior that sets Jesus apart from other moral teachers.

As the ultimate expression of God, Jesus not only receives our worship - He expects it. If we miss our opportunity to worship Him, nature will fill in. Don't let a rock take what God expects of you today. Worship the Servant King!
