Malachi 3:10 - Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse

NIV Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
KJV Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Commentary

God asked the people to prove His word because they questioned His holiness and righteousness. If they would bring the full tithe as required, divine blessing would be renewed. God would restore their agricultural abundance, remove pestilence, and increase the respect of the nations for His people.
