Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious!

Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.

Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; Sing the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious.

Psalm 66:1-2

Commentary

As in Psalm 100:1, the call is not only for the people of Israel, but for peoples of all the earth to join in the praise of the living God, the Most High (Pss. 87; 96; 117).
