Luke 3:11 - The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same

NIV John answered, "The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same."
KJV He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
NASBAnd he would answer and say to them, "The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise."
Luke 3:11

Commentary

The tunic was an undergarment; normally only one was worn. John suggests that the man who owns two should give the spare to someone without one, and so also with food.
