Hebrews 11:1 - Being certain of what we do not see

NIV Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
KJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

St. Augustine said "Faith is to believe what you do not yet see; the reward for this faith is to see what you believe."

Day to day we wrestle with our faith in the Almighty. Oh the struggle instead of the sweet surrender.

Faith is the conviction that what God says is true and that what He promises will come to fruition. True faith is based on what God says, us believing, and is demonstrated in our obedience.

One magnificent day we will see what we hoped for and what we did not see on this Earth. And in that moment our faith will be rewarded. What a glorious day that will be, Amen? Amen.

When you struggle with your faith, surrender, and think of that glorious day. For what we do not see is far greater than anything we do see.

Romans 1:8 - Your faith is being reported all over the world

NIV First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.
KJV First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.

Paul almost always began his letters by expressing appreciation and thanks. What a great example!

In this verse, Paul praises the faith of the Roman Christians. Their faith in Christ and their location at the center of the Roman Empire was spreading the Gospel across the entire known world.

Today's technology is aiding in spreading the Gospel in ways Paul could never have imagined.

Emails, websites, blogs, Facebook and Twitter are new tools we have to share God's Word. What an exciting time! Let our faith be reported all over the world!
