he has become my salvation.
KJV Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
NASB "Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
For the LORD GOD is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation."
Isaiah 12:2

Commentary

God is my salvation: This psalm of redemption is based on the first psalm of redemption in Exodus (Ex. 15:2; Ps. 118:14). Yah, the Lord, by its repetition, emphasizes that Israel's covenant-keeping God-and not the nations-brings salvation (26:4). My strength and song may be rephrased as "my strong song" or "my song of strength" (Ex. 15:2).
