 | You shall not murder. |
 | Thou shalt not kill. |
To not murder another is innate in every major religion on earth. But the Scripture takes this concept further: we are created in God's likeness.
It is interesting to note the word murder in this commandment. Killing at a time of war is seen as a necessary evil, but to murder someone made in the image of God is seen as a desecration of the holy.
