"try Me" - This is a reversal of the ordinary biblical pattern, in which God typically tests human beings (Ps. 11:5; 26:2; 66:10; Prov. 17:3; Jer. 11:20; 12:3; 17:10). Only in a few instances are humans invited to test God (i.e., to prove His claims and justify His commands,
