Commentary
Money is not evil, God knows that at times we need it to pay for food, shelter other true necessities. But this passage points out that the love of money, what we believe about it in our hearts, is the real issue. A heart that trusts in money and wealth for our security is what leads us down the road of destruction. Do I trust in myself to keep my job? Am I trusting in my company to pay my bills? What a frightening thought that I risk wandering from my faith in God when I put my faith in riches...or in my own ability to provide them!Today's commentary by:
