Commentary
Marriage is the gift of God. "Marriage is honorable" and the marriage bed should be kept "undefiled," instructed the writer of Hebrews (13:4). Marriage is to be cherished (Prov. 5:15-20) and unfaithfulness avoided (Prov. 5:1-14). vain life: That is, life that passes so quickly.
