Romans 1:8 - Your faith is being reported all over the world

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.

The believers in Rome became famous due to their faith in God being shown.

The recent devastation in Haiti gives us a unique chance to show the world the love of Jesus. Many are looking to the church to help in this crucial hour. The need is great and the response must be great. May the world look at the church and marvel because they are seeing faith being shown in works of good deeds. Don't miss this moment!

Matthew 4:2-4 - Man does not live on bread alone

After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

As Jesus was fasting and praying, he came directly into the path of his adversary. We are surrounded by obstacles, yet it is only when we set ourselves aside to pray, fast, and seek God's face that we become aware of all that is around us. It is in the place of prayer that we come to grips that as great as food is, we were made to be sustained by God's words. A life lacking prayer is a life lacking perspective.
