He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity.

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

Commentary
The people of the Lord may actually come into His presence and bring Him worship that pleases Him. Be thankful is a command for public expression of praise (106:1).
